Before you begin!:
- Place seed in a colander to remove strings and “bad” seeds
- Pat them dry with a paper towel and speed them out on a baking sheet to allow drying overnight
- P.S. you want all the moisture gone before you cook them
RANCH
Ingredients:
Pumpkin Seeds
Olive Oil
Dry Ranch Seasoning
Instructions:
Toss seeds with a small amount of Olive Oil until they are slightly coated
Mix with dry ranch seasoning
Cook at 300 degrees for 45 minutes (stir every 10 minutes)
SWEET
Ingredients:
Pumpkin Seeds
Corn Syrup
Cinnamon
Sugar
Instructions:
Toss pumpkin seeds with 2 tablespoons of corn syrup until lightly coated
Then coat seeds with cinnamon sugar mixture (amount depending on seeds)
Cook at 300 for 45 minutes (stir everyone 10 minutes)
SPICY
Ingredients:
Pumpkin Seeds
Olive Oil
Cayenne Pepper
Garlic Powder
Instructions:
Coat seeds in olive oil
Mix garlic powder and cayenne pepper to create the perfect spice
Cook at 300 degrees for 45 minutes (stir every 10 minutes)
EVERYTHING
Ingredients:
Butter
Olive Oil
Salt
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Cracked Pepper
Instructions:
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a dish. Mix in olive oil
Pour butter and oil over seeds
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees (stir every 10 minutes)
